This is the disco

On Friday there was a rural school disco two hundred people came. It  started at 5:30 to 7 a clock you could get two  types food and two type of drink which is a slushy but there are two types one type was pineapple and one was strawberry.  I got all three of them pizza popcorn. for five tickets  it was $10 dollars I saw about 100 people from my school which is called Makaraka school. The food is one tickets which is two dollars. I had a too too a vests with a mo-hook that was spared with green hair spray. I got a fox glow and the dark face pant.

 Two weeks ago we did a poster about pies my pie has venison mint and cheese. We had to put lots of colour spaced out pictures/photos important information detail big title text/writing/clear bold/bright bullet points/numbering spell/check. I'm proud of my poster because it has lot's of colour and it just looks amazing with all my detail and its got the rest of the things that I have told you about like colour and spaced out. it took lot's of hard work and it took about two weeks to finished it.

This is me and Ollie tasting different types of herbs. We taste eleven herbs my favourite herb 1 was bail 2 was mint 3 was Chile flacks  thyme is a bit lemony the rest were Strong flavors and my lest favourites were parsley and rose marry. 

JM MY DIORAMA

Last week we did a diorama on Waihirere some people did a diroama on kaiti beach or the fisheries.I did mine waihrere we had to add some wild kai my wild kai was kodura.My diorama has a blue back round and a green flor and a river with kodura in it and it has rocks made out of tinfol with rocks on the side of the river I have three trees and Two Ferns bushes.The river is blue and I did some writig about ear fungus the Mushroom it is eatabele and it gets up to 3 to 10 cm long and it can get get than a normal mushroomat normally goes on Rotten logs or stunts. If it'on a alive tree that means it could die and it will kill the Mashroom.

This is me and Manaia working on our persuasive writing you have to complete all three persuasive writing we finished all there persuasive writing. One was about a kiwi the next one was about an octopus then the last one was about a Mushroom. We only had 35 minutes.

 

JM waihirere

On Tuesday we went to waihirere park on the bus. When we got there Sam the trap man was there to we went for a walk and we found lots of different foods to eat from in the bush. Lots of the food we could eat but one  type of fern that could kill you but you can eat the roots. The other type of fern you can eat  the baby ferns that looked like a curled up fern. After the walk we drunk some lemon balm tea with some other leafs. before we went to the play ground and I went down the slide that was about 8 meters long it went so fast that I fall off at the end. Next I went on the swings and found a hut with mania Raphelle Riarna and Natalie the pass word was reyo house. Then we went down to the river and found some koura and some water spiders. Then we went to the the water fall track and looked at the water fall and I put some water on my face it looked beautiful. On the way back I sadly rolled my ankle. when we got on the bus me and mania were asking each other what was our favourite thing my favourite thing was getting refreshed by the water fall manias favourite thing was making lemon balm tea on the top belly stove the tea smelled like lemon. Then on the Next day we ask the class what there favourite thing was

lost of people like the water fall. The day before we went to kaiti beach we found lots of sea snails and we found lots of sea lettuce and we found lots of shells and I found a tiny squid. Then we pick up rubbish along the beach I pick up a piece iron the was so Rusty that it got my t-shirt and shorts. Then we made sand castles ours was a Mountain  with a slide down it. Then we tried some muscles that Mr swan cooked on a fire that was made out of iron and wood.

One week ago my cousin came  her name is Ella and she is 10 months old. And my other cousin is called harry is three years old. My aunt is a doctor and my uncle is  a farmer. First I went to church and got a kit cat for the three of us me Eive and Harry . Next we put the picket fence up.

1. Today we did some craft about making paper cups. I learnt how to get better at origami first you fold the paper into a triangle then you flod

3. Then you paint over the diagonal in black paint.
4. Next you let it to dry.

A few days ago we did some reading about a clever way to store food. The thing I learned was that titis are the most commin sea bird in new zealand.

 today we pirates our school Twilight triathlon first we had to do 3 laps of ruining then 3 lap of swimming then we do 3 laps of ruining again swim 3 laps then we do it again.
